Reason has been the answer for many of us producers who always have had the dream of having racks filled with gear like major multi-million dollar studios! I've been using reason 3.0 for four years and haven't brought myself to upgrade to 4! I just love 3! I. like others, cannot wait till Sept. 9 to purchase Record. i expect it to really aide in the whole rewire process. With the annoying setup with Pro Tools of having to create three tracks just record and play one sound! That will be my main reason (forgive the pun) for buying record. Plus, I have always wanted a SSL board! Now I will have one for 149 bucks! cant beat that!

I gotta admit, the more I use it, the more I like it. I've gotten used to the interface more or less. Using the function keys is absolutely essential to a good user experience.

I have been Beta testing RECORD and it is just awesome. Very stable and great on the CPU. I do find everything a bit cluttered at the moment but that is just a slight downside on what is going to be a fantastic program.
A big thumbs up to the PROP guys. :-)

I use reason to do all my music and Protools Le 8 as my Daw. My interest is to buy record just cause it has the SSL intergrated but can I rewire record to protools? I already use SSL plugins but the more I use LATENCY kicks in (I HATE THAT)So, can I use RECORD as a rewire to Pro tools?

Thanks
